Martin Stoecklin & Melina Wilson are active in the wide-ranging field of visual communication, specialising in design for print, web/interactive platforms and physical spaces. The studio practice is concept-driven and each project is developed non-dogmatically by learning and understanding its idiosyncrasies to clarify ideas and translate them into cohesive results and thoughtful interfaces. Clients and collaborators range from cultural and academic institutions to artists and businesses. The studio was co-founded by Martin Stoecklin (Diploma in Visual Communication [equivalent to a Master’s degree] from Zurich University of the Arts) and Melina Wilson (BA in Visual Communication from ECAL and MA in Arts from Werkplaats Typografie).

Martin Stoecklin & Melina Wilson are active within the multifaceted fields of visual communication (a realm still mostly referred to as graphic design). Designing for print, web/interactive and space, the studio’s focused attention lies on conceptual approaches. Projects are developed undogmatically by learning and understanding their peculiarities in order to form and craft coherent results, solutions and surfaces. Clients and collaborators range from cultural to academic institutions, from artists to businesses. The studio was founded by Martin Stoecklin (1983, Diploma in Visual Communication at ZHdK) and Melina Wilson (1990, BA in Visual Communication at ECAL, MA of Arts at Werkplaats Typografie).
